Empowering Puerto Rico's
next generation
of musicians

From the candlelit salons of Old San Juan, a charitable trust dedicated to the next generation — so the rhythm of our island's soul resonates for generations to come.

Our Mission

We believe in the transformative power of music education.

Founded by the acclaimed artist Jan D'Esopo, the Trust nurtures the talents of young musicians in Puerto Rico and empowers them to reach their full potential. From scholarships and instrument donations to mentorship and the stage, we remove the barriers that stand between talent and opportunity.

By investing in the next generation of musicians, we invest in the future of Puerto Rico — strengthening communities, preserving our cultural heritage, and composing a brighter tomorrow for all.

Concerts & Recitals

Upcoming Performances

The Trust presents concerts and recitals throughout the year — many in the candlelit salons of The Gallery Inn. Dates change often, so follow us on Instagram for the most current schedule.

Music is part of daily life in Old San Juan.

Studio Hall at The Gallery Inn presents music every night, while The Cannon Club features young artists five nights a week. Throughout the season, the Trust also supports concerts, recitals, piano festival performances, and special events across Old San Juan. Because schedules evolve often, Instagram is the best place to find the latest dates, times, and program updates.

The Trust's Official Bird

Meet Campeche

Meet Campeche, the Trust's official bird and beloved resident of The Gallery Inn — a Moluccan cockatoo whose presence has become part of the music, memory, and charm of Old San Juan.

Often called "Puerto Rico's most famous bird," Campeche greets performers and guests alike, and turns up — feathers and all — wherever the music is being made.
